Pasut Beach
First of all let me tell you that Pasut beach is one of our favourite spots to watch the sun go down in Bali.
Well out of the hustle and bustle of the ever growing Canggu, if you head mid week you may even get this spot all to yourself. On the weekends this a popular spot for young locals.
How to get there?
You can either book a taxi through Gocar which was our to go to app for transport while in Bali or you can ride your scooter like we did, its easy to find by just popping Pasut beach into google maps.
Pasut beach is about an hour west from Canggu, winding your way through villages and rice paddies. Just note that if you stay to watch the sunset you’ll have to ride your bike back in the dark and the roads are pretty narrow.
You could also make it an overnight trip and enjoy Pasut Beach for a full day or a couple days.
Where to stay?
Here’s a few nice option for couples or big groups. The budget options are a little bit far from the beach so I haven’t added them to this list.
- The Cloud Unique Beachfront Villa
- VillaParadise Beach
- Beraban Beach House
- Absolute Beachfront Villa Laut
- Original Villa Pryaniki
What to do?
Palm grove
After parking your bike at the end of the road head to your left along the beach here you’ll find a beautiful palm grove with an abandoned beach hut and a grassy spot where you can sit and relax (just stay away from any potential falling coconuts, a friendly farmer warned us about them last time we were there). After this you can head to the crooked palm.
Crooked palm
Seems like we all love funny shaped palms. If you head towards your right you’ll find this famous Bali palm and if you are agile enough you can also climb it. This is a very Instagram worthy palm so climb it if you can!
Swing
Certainly there is no shortage of swings in Bali but this has to be one of my favourite ones! I loved swinging here while the sky turned all shades of pink.
Hammock
Besides being really clever, Balinese people also have amazing creativity, they always add these beautiful touches everywhere. This hammock was just there for everyone to enjoy.
To sum it up you really don’t want to miss this spot while in Bali.
While you are in Bali you’ll definitely want to explore these islands.
