So, how many days should you spend in Mexico City? I’d say at least 4 to 5 days to really soak it all in. Of course the more you stay the more you will discover and fall in love with the city.
Is CDMX Safe for tourists?
The centre of Mexico City is safe to visit as a tourist, especially if you take the usual travel precautions. There is a high police presence around all the main tourists areas. Just be aware of pick pocketing in busy areas like Centro Historico and being out late at night. The outer neighbourhoods are not safe to visit without a local.
