Best beachfront accomodation in Uluwatu, Bali

If you are asking yourself where to go and where to stay in Bali? You should definitely add Uluwatu to the itinerary. Most importantly you should book a couple nights at the most dreamy beachfront accomodation located right on the cliffs of Uluwuatu! Dreamsea Surf Camp.

The room

Being super close to some of the best surf spots in Bali is not Dreamsea’s only forte, the rooms are totally stunning. Each room is unique and the simple but warm decorations really makes the magical views the main focus!

The food

There’s some good options for food at Dreamsea and you can also venture up the stairs for more cafe and restaurant options along the main road. Their Tiki Bar serves drinks all day long for your daily coconut fix or that cheeky cocktail.

What to do at Dreamsea Bali

At the time when we were staying here, the waves were huge so Instead we decided to explore the beach right in front of the hotel. If you follow the beach towards the left at low tide it will take you straight to Labuan Sait one of Uluwuatu’s nicest beaches.

After exploring ,come back to enjoy the sunset either from the room, while sipping a beer from the restaurant or the chill out area (where they also offer yoga in the afternoon). If you can plan your stay in advance try to stay there on a Friday when they have the best beach bbq I ever had, sorry Australia.

Travel Tips

• Pack light as there’s many stair to get here. Funny story we went here right after we moved out of Ubud and after carrying our bags all the way to reception we realise we were one day early!!!
• If you are booking in advance try to book one of the rooms with a terrace. You can also be added to the waitlist if you contact  the hotel.

Things to note while at Dreamsea

• The walls are made out of bamboo and that makes the rooms not totally sound proof.
• If you are a light sleeper the ocean can be quite loud at night time but that’s all part of the charm!
