Nirjhara Bali, one of the best boutique resorts in Bali
Bali has its fair share of amazing hotels & resorts, it takes a lot to stand out amongst the pack however the Nirjhara sets a new standard for boutique resorts in Bali.
The scene is set before you arrive, passing traditional villages, vibrant rice fields & glimpses of volcanoes through the palms. You are in the Bali you imagined. Free from the tourist strongholds and into an oasis of tradition & nature you’ll discover Nirjhara. Carefully nestled between the rivers and coconut groves.
Stay
What will draw you into Nirjhara is the undeniable Balinese energy soothing you upon arrival. The sound of the waterfall, ocean breeze through the palms and the warm smiles greeting you throughout the property.
We stayed in the canopy suite, sustainably detailed with reclaimed teak. The private rooftop amongst the palms was our favourite, with solar heated outdoor bath & views over the rice fields. The Perfect spot for a tropical sunset.
Eat
Ambu restaurant is one of the perks of Nirjhara certainly worthy of a visit on its own. Locally sourced produce carefully curated into mouth watering works of art combining asian and western options. The breakfast boards in the morning are a must try.
Activities
We headed out for a sunrise bike ride exploring the local rice paddies and beaches. You can also choose nearby Tana Lot temple for a dramatic sunrise or sunset. If surfing is your thing grab a board and head to near by Kendung beach or unwind by the pool with a cocktail. Visit the spa to be pampered or head down to the riverside yoga barn.
We didn’t know what to expect before our visit to Nirjhara, upon arriving we knew we where somewhere special. it was certainly a memorable escape.
While you are in Bali you should take the time to visit our favourite Airbnb, Hideout Bali.
