Guestlands

Guestlands has to be the most unique B&B we have stayed in Sydney. Cobblestone lanes, private country gardens & alfresco dining. All within 40 minutes of Sydneys CBD.

We first saw Guestlands on one of our favourite fashion brands shoots and we initially thought they were overseas. When we realised this gem was so close to Sydney we had to visit!

The Italian inspired B&B on the rural fringes of northern Sydney is like a quick European escape. Built by owners Peter & Jenny, drawing inspiration from trips to France and Italy. The villa originally intended for family and friends visiting but it has now just opened for public bookings and boutique weddings.

The accomodation is set out like a medieval Tuscan village with 5 villas lining the street. Each with private balcony and ensuite. You can wake up to views over the gardens and lake or enjoy your morning coffee in the village streets. Additionally there’s even a cute little Trattoria in the piazza for guests to cook breakfasts.

During our stay, hosts Peter & Jenny invited us to a group dinner in the piazza. With great food by the Local Collective Galston and even an impromptu opera performance by their talented friends. Ending the night under the stars by the sunken fire pit.

We spent our days with slow breakfasts on the balcony, relaxing by the pool & exploring the gardens. Jenny is an avid gardener and you can see her dedication as you walk through the beautiful grounds.

As a rare occurrence our last night we got the whole place to ourselves so we decided to take over the piazza and have a romantic date night.
