Heartwood Farm Byron Bay

May

05

Heartwood farm Byron Bay is one of our favourite country escapes to date.

The drive up into the hinterland from Byron is without doubt one of the most picturesque drives in Australia. Winding through rolling hills, macadamia fields, and pockets of subtropical rainforest. Only a short 30 minute drive for us to get to the beautiful 100 acre property.

Greeting us on arrival at Heartwood Farm was uninterrupted panoramic views of the rolling countryside. Perched atop its own ridge, you get the feeling you have the whole hinterland to yourself.

Entering the cottage we were immediately struck by the level of detail and dedication owners Craig & Nicole have put into renovating this beautiful country abode. It has a feeling of cozy country luxury. With curated country styling, luxury linens and all the creature comforts we could wish for. We felt at home straight away.

Our favourite Heartwood farm moments:

Fire Pit

Spending the evenings outdoors is always one of our favourite things to do. Heartwoods recently added fire pit was the perfect spot to watch the sun go down, the sky turn pastel pink and toast some marshmallows.

Vintage Bathtub

Adri seems to have a knack of finding beautiful baths wherever we go and Heartwoods deep vintage clawfoot tub is the perfect spot to grab a book and soak away.

Heated pool

The weather in Northern NSW is perfect at any time of year, but with the added bonus of the heated pool you can be taking in the winter sun and still enjoy dips in the pool.

Exploring the 100 Acres

With so much open space there is plenty to explore at Heartwood. Take a picnic overlooking the rolling hills, wander through the pastures to the river bank or swing under the old fig tree.
