Kimo Estate, sleep amongst the stars in Gundagai Australia

Kimo estate in Gundagai Australia is the perfect romantic weekend escape. We stayed in Sweeneys hut, perched atop a private hill boasting panoramic views of the picturesque Gundagai countryside. There are 6 accomodation options at Kimo Estate 3 of which are eco huts. All spaced out on hills around the 7000 acre working sheep and cattle farm. In such a big space you feel secluded & one with your surroundings. Perfect for those weekends away with your loved one.

The wood fired jacuzzi was certainly the highlight for us, ready and steamy upon our late afternoon arrival. Needless to say we jumped straight in, enjoyed the sunset & took in the view with a glass of wine in hand. The perfect relaxing start to our weekend away.

Come evening time we were treated to the clearest night sky we have ever seen. Stargazing is our favourite part of camping however we don’t enjoy the cold so we truly enjoyed cozying up inside the hut next to the wood fire enjoying the panoramic views with millions of stars to wish us goodnight.

The next morning we woke up with an incredible pink sunrise over the rolling hills then we cooked up a delicious country style breakfast and enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony. All the ingredients are in the hut ready to go for you to make your own breakfast.

We loved all those soul filled moments we shared during our time in this perfect hut. Kimo estate is easily one of NSW best boutique country accommodations. Book your escape at Kimo estate here.
